Agroecological Gardens at CEI Haydee Maria Pupo Novaes

Development of an agroecological gardens strategy integrated into the School Political-Pedagogical Plan, fostering outdoor learning (“school unwalling”) and food and nutritional security.

This initiative contributes to SDGs: 2, 4

Results:

• Empowerment of the teaching staff to develop environmental education strategies;
• Planting of 12 native trees for shading the external area and implementation of an agroecological crop field, vegetable garden, and orchard;
• Supply of organic food for school meals;
• Conducting playful moments with students, aligned with the garden proposal.
